The compact SUV is available in 4 versions: the base version, named RDX, the Tech, the A-Spec, and finally the Platinum Elite A-Spec at the top of the line-up. The 2022 Acura RDX is offered at a starting price of $46,900 and its price can climb to $59,100. The Tech and A-Spec trims are priced at $50,200 and $53,700, respectively, while the most premium trim can be yours for a starting price of $59,100.

A high-performance engine

At the heart of the Acura RDX SUV we find the same powerful engine, a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder with 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. It is paired with a smooth and efficient 10-speed automatic transmission.

To maximize the driving experience, the Japanese manufacturer has focused on improving the integrated dynamic-driving system. It allows you to drive in four modes: Normal, Comfort, Sport and Snow. What's more, the system has been reworked to make the settings even more distinct, and Sport mode is now sportier than ever before!

The suspension with adaptive dampers featured on the Platinum model has also been reworked. It now delivers a smoother and more refined driving experience. Of course, it also includes the SH-AWD system, which provides unbeatable stability in all conditions. This system is standard on all versions and allows you to face the winter with confidence.

Updated style for the 2022 Acura RDX

While the MDX is now entering a new generation, the Acura RDX SUV is also getting a piece of the action, and draws inspiration from the design of its older brother. Like the RDX, it now sits proudly on 19-inch wheels as standard, and on 20-inch wheels with the A-Spec version. The Platinum version distinguishes itself with its 20-inch wheels with a new 15-spoke design.

Among the new touches you will find an all-new front bumper and a reworked rear bumper. The standard dual exhaust is now equipped with new rectangular tips, while the A-Spec version features round tips. The A-Spec package also adds a new chrome trim to the LED fog lights.

As you would expect, the RDX features the iconic diamond grille and the bright, incisive Jewel Eye LED headlights typical of Acura vehicles. If we had to sum it up in two words, we'd say that the new RDX is sporty and refined!

A smart and luxurious interior

The new model year also delivers a variety of new integrated technologies. Notable additions include:

The compact SUV also provides plenty of room for your passengers. Loading the SUV is made easy thanks to the sliding rear seats, which can be pushed forward to free up space in the back. The trunk can hold between 835 and 881 L, while the SUV as a whole has a maximum capacity of between 1,668 and 2,260 L.
